Galen Counselman is the Chief Information Officer at PenAir Credit Union. He has spent over 25 years developing a career in Information Technology. Across those 25 years, he has built a passion and expertise around IT Leadership, IT Strategy, Digital Technologies, Data and Analytics, and Information Security. He spent a large part of his career in healthcare and then transitioned to the financial industry in 2015 when he joined PenAir, where he now serves as the SVP/Chief Information Officer. In addition to Information Technology, Galen oversees Digital Products and Services, Payments, Information Security, Data Analytics, Facilities & Construction, and Project Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of West Florida and maintains a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation.
